How could I convince my parents to let me go to Jamaica for the summer?
I'm thinking about going to Jamaica for the summer and maybe bringing a friend along with me. I'm a great surfer so I wanted to see what it's like out there. I also want to learn from Jamaicans and how they got there and how the Rastafarian religion came to there and everything. I wanna go not only because of the nice beaches out there to just relax and have a good time with my friend and surf, but I'm thinking about living there when I'm done with college at the U in Miami, Florida. I wanna meet some people out there and get a good friendship with them too.

Vacation Ideas. Aruba or Jamaica?
I'm looking to go in August. My friend and I 2 females . So not looking for the romance aspect. Lol. I am from Jamaica so I know what to expect there. Never been to Aruba but read good reviews. We just need a nice, comfortable, beach Caribbean setting that's not Americanized.
Why isn't there a Jamaica's/Caribbean's Got Talent?
You know the Got Talent series? Well like a lot of countries have it like India's Got Talent, and America's Got Talent. Well I found that the whole Arab world has one Arab's Got Talent. Well why can't Jamaica have a Got Talent series? Is it because it's 3rd world and can't do it. If that's the case then why don't they make a Caribbean's Got Talent where Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti, The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Guyana, Suriname, and other Caribbean Countries be part of it and people from all over the Caribbean participate and show their talents like they do in Arab's Got Talent to be Carribean's Got Talent. If y'all could help that would be great I am Jamaican, and want to see this show or something similar like this show in Jamaica or around the Caribbean. Please and thanks

I'm going to Jamaica this summer and I was wondering if I would be able to drink there. I'm 17 right now, but when I go, I will have a month until I turn 18. I know the drinking age there is 18, but would I still be able to drink?I know the drinking age is 18, but I've heard the legal age is lenient...is that true?okay, chill, i did look and i didnt see anyone in the same situation, and also i will be with my friend who would have just turned 18 and her parents...my parents know good and well that i will drink so dont give me that bullshit
