Is it safer to travel to cuba with two passports?
hello there. I am a U.S. resident with dual venezuelan italian citizenship. ive been wanting to go to Cuba for quite sometime now, but as we all know, traveling to Cuba can be a bit complicated due to U.S. restricting its legal residents and citizens from spending dollars there. Ive been doing some research online and read that a third country could be used as gateway to Cuba, such as Mexico...But, ive also learned that the passport used to exit and reenter Mexico from Cuba WILL be stamped. So my question is, would it be better for me to fly to Mexico with my Venezuelan passport which is my birth country , then use my Italian passport from Mexico to Cuba, then Cuba to Mexico, and finally come back to the U.S. with the Venezuelan passport from Mexico? I know im making this more complicated than it really has to be, but, i would much rather make use of my Italian passport if it could be done instead of having to answer a bunch of questions to rude U.S. customs officials due to additional stamps on my Venezuelan passport coming back from Mexico. This will be my first getaway ever I thought it would be a great way to celebrate my 26th birthday in November. I keep hearing how amazing Cuba is and so now I really want to go. Thing is I have no idea which part of Cuba would be great for a first timer. Or even where to go to get a great all inclusive package for about four people.I am a student and I realize my birthday is in the middle of school so the cheaper the package the better.Thanks in advance.

I have always wanted to go to Cuba, and I am seriously considering on going at the end of the year. There is one thing that is worrying me, I have heard about alot of the locals prejudicing against English speakers because some will assume I am American, but I am British. Is this true? The UK has relations with Cuba and is not really involved in the frosty relations.

My friend went to visit Cuba and he hasn't contacted me for a week and a half. I'm a bit worried?
He's gone away for 2 months to visit some countries, and for the last weeks of his travels he was going to visit Cuba and Mexico. We were contacting eachother sort of frequently every few days until a week and a half ago, when he said he was sorting out his flight to Cuba, and since then we've had no contact. I'm a huge worrier, and already I'm beginning to imagine terrible scenarios...that he's been killed, that he's had an accident, or been arrested got into trouble. He's not a troublemaker, but he does smoke marijuana..I don't think he's be careless enough to try and get some in Cuba Mexico where it's dangerous to do so, but what if he's in trouble because of that? What if he went somewhere alone and badly injured himself?I know I'm being OTT, but I'm just scared because he usually talks to me via iChat by now. I'm not sure if he's in Cuba or Mexico at the moment, but the internet is pretty slow in Cuba, so maybe that's something do with it? I hope it's just that, or something trivial like he can't be arsed to talk to me, but I'm kind of scared. We have SORT OF have a casual relationship together we hang out often and sleep with each other etc...but none of our friends family know each other. So I have no one to talk to about this. Am I magnifying a minor problem or do I have reason to be concerned?
